winter_time_is_here

its gotten ass cold here in basel. we had some snow and now its just horrible sleat/drissel the past two days. today was better, the streets were actually dry at one point during the day. since i was a bit sick, i decided to take my cold weather equipment to the next level and simultaniously get the terrorist-look going.

limited express (has gone?) show

today i did what i don't do enough …see live music. when i saw the poster i knew it was something that was going to be good. some crazy ass, out of control japanese noise rock from kyoto. lots of screaming and dancing/jumping into the crowd from the band. as well as passing on of instruments to audience members. very nice.
it was kind of sad to see so little turnout for the show, but it seems like its always that way with small bands here in europe.

resurrection

i took my old track frame and got it powder coated white. it looks damn hot i think, but its going to be a bitch to keep it clean and after riding my smaller soma frame, this one just feels too big.

new hair...less hair

a few days ago i got my hair cut professionally cut for the first time in switzerland. usually its so damned expensive to get a hair cut here i wouldn't think about it, but i met some friends at a club and one of their friends is a hair stylist. so i asked if he could cut my hair and he gave me his number and said i can call him when i want. i called him and set up an appointment at his place which is 6 or 7 blocks from my place. when i went there at 6pm he had just woke up and the first thing he did was roll up a joint. thats when i knew this would be a good hair cut. i just told him that i wanted it short and he could do what he thought best.

ahhh ...a blog spot. now i am officially like all those others with blog spots. this is actually a nice companion to my flickr page ...i guess. a fantastic way for me to piss away my time.
